Can LedgerLitz sync live with Tally?

No. Migration is a cut-over using workbook/CSV import and opening balances, not continuous sync. Your CA should pick a closing date and verify balances.

What opening balances can I import?

Account balances on the chart of accounts and party-wise receivable/payable opening amounts. Historical invoices are not required if opening balances are correct.

Will my old invoice numbers migrate?

Transaction history can be imported via CSV where supported, but many businesses start fresh vouchers after cut-over while carrying balances forward. Discuss depth of history with your CA.

Is there a Tally file (.900) direct import?

No. Use Excel workbook or CSV exports from Tally or your CA’s tools. Sample templates document the expected format.

How do I backup after migration?

Use Settings to export an encrypted backup file with a passphrase you hold. Store copies on USB and cloud storage; LedgerLitz cannot recover lost passphrases.
